The "Before and After" trope is a staple of fitness and plastic surgery, but for therapists, it’s a minefield. You can’t exactly post a photo of a client’s brain shrinking its amygdala. Because of HIPAA and the deeply private nature of mental health, most therapists avoid this format entirely, leaving a massive gap in their marketing.
What actually works is moving away from physical transformations and focusing on "The Shift." This is about the internal dialogue and the behavioral changes that happen between Session 1 and Session 20. It is the transition from a person who cancels plans out of anxiety to the person who occasionally says "no" without a week of guilt.
Reality check: Your followers aren't looking for a 'cured' version of themselves. They are looking for evidence that the specific, heavy weight they are carrying can eventually feel lighter. Stop trying to sell a destination; start showing the transition.
